Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rattle Rock Inc. ("we", "us"), 5005 Dalhousie Dr NW Unit 175 #1620, Calgary, AB T3A 5R8, Canada, collects, uses and shares information when you use the RompBucks website at https://www.rompbucks.com (the "Site"). We are the organization accountable for your personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), date of birth, and state of residence.
• Activity on the Site: points earned and redeemed, giveaway entries, Shop orders, referral relationships, and support requests.
• Offer completions: when you complete a partner offer, the partner sends us a confirmation that includes your account identifier, the offer, its payout to us, and the IP address recorded by the partner.
• Prize fulfillment: shipping address, and for prize winners, the information required by our Official Rules and by tax law (which may include a Social Security number for prizes valued at $600 or more, collected securely and used only for tax reporting).
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and usage logs, collected automatically.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate the Site and your account; credit points and process redemptions and entries; select, verify and notify giveaway winners and publish winners as described in the Official Rules; detect and prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations including tax reporting; communicate with you about your account; and improve the Site.

3. How we share information

We share information with: service providers that help us run the Site (hosting, database, email delivery); offer partners, who receive an anonymous account identifier so that completions can be credited; shipping carriers and prize suppliers as needed to deliver items; and authorities where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the Site. You can control cookies through your browser, but the Site will not work without the necessary ones.

5. Where information is stored

The Site is hosted in the United States and your information is stored and processed there by our service providers (currently Vercel for hosting and Neon for the database). Information stored in the United States is subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access requests by its authorities.

6. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as needed for legal, tax, audit and fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your choices

You can update your account information in Settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us; we may keep information we are required to retain by law. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time; we will still send transactional emails about your account.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and encrypted storage of delivered codes. No system is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the effective date shows the current version.
